A lean month, and mercifully so too.
Having spent most of December and the beginning of January wading through BATFA screeners, I’m quite happy to give film a rest for a while and concentrate on massaging my ears with last year’s backlog of underlistened-to goodies.
And so, only three new things this month – and one of them’s from 2005, another a new interpretation of an even older piece, and the last a compilation of oldies.
All three are stonkingly good though.
